Our story
A roastery that started with one 5 kg roaster
Alex opened Harbor & Pine in 2014 with a secondhand roaster and a counter by the ferry. Today Maya roasts 180 kg a week for the café, our online shop, and 34 cafés and offices across the district.
What we care about
Direct from farms
We buy from the same growers every year and pay above fair-trade prices.
Roasted to order
Nothing sits on a shelf. Every bag ships within three days of roasting.
Part of the harbour
Our grounds feed the community garden; our leftovers feed the shelter on Bay Road.
